I actually get annoyed having to pass others sometimes. Mostly when I'm stopped at a light and someone comes up behind me and stops in front of me in the middle of the crosswalk nearly in the intersection, proceeds to bike slower than me after crossing, then does the SAME THING at the next red light! Seriously people.
I don't think the OP was trying to be funny. I think he actually thought he accomplished Greatness in passing an unaware roadie. I don't identify with roadies at all, but this sort of immature childish competitiveness in adults is really annoying. Nobody gives a F&$#. Nobody. OP is a champion only in his mind.
