Drop out the 16 from my 12-25 and I end up with
12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27
The 17-25 being the fixed together section.
Standard 12-27 is
12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 16, 19, 21, 24, 27.
I'm glad you were able to get the single 27T. I hope you have a spare 10-speed spacer to go between the 25 and the new 27T cogs.
For me, I would miss that 16T cog a lot and I find the bigger gaps at the large cog end a lot more tolerable. I once made a 9-speed 13x27 cassette (no it isn't a standard) by dropping the 12 and 13T first two cogs, substituting a 13T first position cog and adding a single 16T. I went out of my way to get that 16T and have no use for the 12T.
