I belong a small wheel group here in LA CA and own 6 bromptons myself ,I know how much other members paid or sold their bromptons in Local craigslist or ebay, I monitor ebay USA for 7 years nothing new they go up that price close to new. local craigslist is the same a seller would post $600~900 with OBO tag for a used one and he'd get a dozen calls and end not sell it and relist next week at a much higher price. This didn't happen often when we had classified ads in the newspaper but with free listing in CL and everyone buying via CL sellers do this all the time and its not just bikes.

the last 3 years i've seen maybe 3 or 4 bromptons at local CL you email them but never get a response. not all posters are really selling they want to know how much demand or how much they can get for their bromptons. maybe in other areas its different but here in Los Angeles/orange counties you hardly see bromptons for sale but you see a lot of Want ads. and yes we have 3 local brompton dealers in the city. A lot of times buyers would buy used just to save on 9.9% sales tax. a mere savings of $100 and a used brompton still gets sold quick.

now I don't know where the OP will end up selling it in the USA but in ebay it goes too high lately but then again ebay fees is a lot nowadays.
