"Heavy" is relative, but the bare frame and fork (with headset cups) were quite a bit more than the the usual Columbus SL frame set in that size (57cm). I can't remember how much but I think it was over 7.5 Lbs., maybe close to 8. I haven't weighed the complete bike and it rides no "heavier" than my other 60's racers like my SC.

The Cinelli frameset was more in line with the typical "around 6 lbs." for the frame and fork. It's a size or two smaller, but that should not make that much of a difference.

I think these Bianchi's were just built heavy, or maybe mine was built with SP? Mine is a home market model, not one originally imported to the the US. Maybe the OP can post a weight if he's going to strip it down to the bare frame.
