I happened to have it already and wanted to go to more modern bars. I prefer classic stems if I can, but this recent iteration was all about comfort. If I could stick with traditional bars and be happy, I would. I might comment on the stiffness of the setup, but I rarely push the commuter hard enough to notice. Now that I think of it, it might make more sense on the Bianchi. But the other thought was maybe being out on a long tour and feeling tired. A simple flip of them stem puts me upright and gives me a break. That and a quicker, cleaner ability to partly disassemble for boxing to take on trips via train or whatever. So it's all geared towards comfort and versatility. Depends on what you require, I guess.
