There is no set amount of drop from the seat to the bars. Get fit & go with what is comfortable. You don't need to flip or slam your stem, you need to be in a good ergonomic, comfortable position. Don't take as gospel what you read on a forum that your seat is this or stem is that.
You may very well be on a bike that is too big, and you may not. But only you & a qualified fitter can make that determination.
