The Ultegra chain may look short, but it is not, it shifted to the 28t even under load with no problems, and according from the Park Tool Picture, my chain length is beyond adequate, dead on perfect. Bob, i know you try to help me, but it is not gonna work, and I don't want to try the KMC again. If you really want to dig into this, I can send you both the ultegra and KMC chain, maybe you have the resources to duplicated the problems.

o clarify, was the original length you cut the KMC chain to 105 links plus the Missing Link? (105 + 1 = 106)
No, it was 106+ 1 connector link=107, when I said I want to make it 107 I really meant 107 links, no connector link.
