So I was dumb today and adjusting the length of my sram single speed chain. Popped some pins out, completely. But, I've managed to get them back in (stiff link though). If I can get the link to be non-stiff, is it safe to use? Or should I just buy a new chain.
Most chain tools have a second 'shelf' for loosening stiff links. Another easy fix is to grab the chain with your thumbs on the stiff area of the chain and push as you pull back with your fingers - like you're trying to bend the chain.
