It's all first gen Dura Ace now, so I'd prefer to stay with Shimano.

I do prefer bar end shifting over DT as well, I didn't think about using 8spd shifters or using the VO pods. Hmmm. I'd have to change the rear D right? What would be a fitting replacement?
