Sweet Road

It's a fantastic road. It should be snow free, but I'm not absolutely certain. The BLM Dept out of Salem should know if it's snow free. There are 4 miles of gravel - that stretch is probably going to be muddy. If you decide to ride all the way to Pacific City, it's better to head north on 101 at Beaver for 3.5 miles and turn left on Sandlake Road than to head south on 101. There's a county campground tucked in behind the Inn at Cape Kiwanda across the street from the Pelican Brewery.

Did you end up doing your trip last weekend? (I saw a post from the ski website I visit that someone went skiing on Mary's Peak last weekend. - I'm not sure how low the snow started.)
