If you ever race Masters, you find that a lot of the fastest guys are the older fellows who have retired and are now training like pro's. They're also able to get higher-quality rest. As long as they maintain the discipline to stay on their training schedule, and not get sidetracked with home improvement projects, they are a force to be reckoned with!
