I bought a Hold Steady for my wife, and it is a phenomenal bike IMO. She loves it, as well. I've installed fenders and a rear rack on it, and it as a terrific setup.
The quality is excellent - Alfine, Shimano Hydraulic brakes (excellent brakes), very nice bike for the money.
