I picked up this frameset with wheels yesterday and Im curious about the year. Its a great looking frame and I love the rake on the fork.

I would like to get a idea of what era this could be from. The previous owner was told it was a 1945, And my knowledge only goes back to the 70's. HE did say that it had a rusty hand operated front shifter with the rear on the downtube.
