What size rear caliper brake to use.. "reach"

Hey so I'm a bit confused as to what kind of caliper brake I should get for the rear of my bike. It was a single speed gone fixie and am now wanting to go back to fixie so I'll need the brake. It's just a 52cm cheap Torker U-district.
I've been reading Sheldon Brown and feel lost.
"The reach required for a particular installation depends on the frame construction (how low the brake mounting holes are) and the rim diameter." (http://sheldonbrown.com/calipers.html)

I guess i thought it'd much simpler. I just want to order one online, however the measurements i'm getting make no sense compared to what I read. hoping someone has some feedback or knowledge they can share
Thanks
