Well I bought it and it is much stiffer than my B17's were when they were right out of the box - no flex at all. Not broken in at all and you can't even push the sit area of the saddle down like on a Brooks. Although I've never seen one my guess it is more like a Brooks professional regarding the thickness of the leather. That said I threw it on a bike and took a short ride under 10 miles and it felt comfortable. Not sure how it would be after 25 or 30 but I'm pleased with it.

Pastorbob - Mine looks like yours minus the dimples :-). Does it have a layer laminated on the underside of the leather? This one has it everywhere except down the skirts. I think that is what is making it so stiff.
