At the suggestion of the folks in the C&V forum I'm posting here about a question on a steel frame I just picked up. I noticed this on the headlug http://www.flickr.com/photos/7749984...7629512866012/. The photo is of the topside of the downtube.

Is this thing serious? or is it from just twenty years of use......
