Then ... why didn't you do another 20 miles? Or better yet ... 40 miles to make it back-to-back centuries? You've only got 2.5 months to go, I would have thought you'd be a lot further along in the distance riding by now.

How much did you ride on the day after the 100 mile ride? By now you should be up to riding 5 days a week, and doing longish rides at least 3 days of those days. 60 miles, then 100 miles, then ... what did you ride? 50 miles? Another 60 mile ride?

A 60 mile ride and then a 100 mile ride is a far cry from 120 miles a day for 40 days.


So this coming weekend ... back-to-back 100 mile rides, and a 60 mile ride on the third day ... off you go!! You should be doing something like this (and gradually more) every weekend now.
