It does appear to me that the rider with the camera landed hard on his helmet. Both cyclists could have easily been hurt much worse obviously.

Lots of posters on SF Gate are drawing an comparison between a cyclist running a stop sign on a slightly uphill RH turn (while checking the intersection first) and a driver hit and running a cyclist. My conclusion is that some drivers are so jealous of cyclists that inane remarks follow.
