I ran adapters similar to the Wheels Manufacturing BSA to HollowTech II (Shimano) for several months in all conditions and with lots of climbing and some nasty terrain.

All no problem.

As with all press-fit bearing BB systems it boils down to installation: Do it ONCE and do it RIGHT.
