As a rider of both a 32mm set of Reynolds and a 46mm set, I can back this comment up completely. I am currently building up a very shallow set of wheels as I don't particularly like fighting crosswinds with wide rims. The 32 are not too bad at all, but I would like a set of 24mm or so in my bag for the really blustery days.
