Use your local car dealerships for reference as well. I have a '88 d' Arienzo frame with red metallic over chrome. I found a match from 2011-12 GM/Cadillac that is perfect. Little pricey at $20 for a touch up bottle, but the paint is lacquer.

Most of these colors have to be reused over the years.
