Almost exactly the same thing happened to me. The guy looks me straight in the face as I'm approaching and then when I'm about 3 feet away, he picks up the line. I slam on my brakes and glare at him. He gives me this stupid look like "I didn't know I wasn't suppose to pick it up". What are people thinking -- a lot of times they aren't!!!!
