When people wear dark colors ,or worse yet black, they make themselves invisible to traffic around them so that some hapless drive can mow them down 'cause the idiot biker wore a dark/black color making them impossible to see in all the background movement and colors. Yellow, lime green ,or hell, even bright red is much much safer for riding in traffic.

I think black is easier to see during the day. Obviously not at night. I have bright lights, front and back, reflective strips and I pay attention. Possibly you, the driver should be more cautious, rather than txting and blowing through lights (not assuming you do that). Every time I nearly get hit, that's the cause. My clothes obviously don't matter since the driver doesn't pay attention regardless. Could be wearing blinking neon lights and I bet I could still get hit.
