I'll go against the grain here...replace the parts that don't work well (lighting, rims, brakes) and make it into something more functional. The dynohub lights will never work to the standard of the worst current LED, the rims and brake calipers can best be described as un-rideable in the rain (making fenders and chain guard pointless weight) and it's not valuable enough to worry about originality. I wouldn't even consider repainting a sacrilege. Make it what you want and what works for you...don't get caught up in the restoration angle.
