The bike is a late sixties or, more likely early to mid seventies issue Chiorda. The one presented must be the entry level model since it has little, and perhaps no chrome plating on the frame and fork. The Chiordas I have run across all had chrome stays, fork blades and head tube lugs.

I find the Chiorda to offer an acceptable ride quality but the bicycle is not as lively as some others in its class, the Peugeot UO8 or the Torpado LUXE being a couple of direct competitors to the Chiorda.

I have owned a couple of their entry level issues, but only Step Through models, such as this clean old Italian curved top tubes Mixte I built up a summer or two ago...
