For several years I used to lock my bike to a rack outside my building. I was grateful that the building owners provided a rack but my bike was exposed to the harsh Ohio elements. A couple of years ago, the ciy built a new parking garage right across the street. One day I was walking past and saw a separate area specifically set aside for bikes. Now I can lock my bike for free inside the garage. Thank you Columbus! One of my co-workers gets in a snit because the city provides free space for cyclists. I get immense enjoyment out of that too.
