Awesomeo post Octopus! I think I read your write-up about riding Ventoux on a fixed gear (on a white IRO, right?) All four routes in one day is simply epic. That is a feat that I would be hard pressed to complete on a geared bike!

I love climbing on a fixed gear. The worst part is coming down though. Sometimes I wish I had one of those Sram Torpedo hubs that you can put into freewheel mode. Thats cheating though... (sigh)
