I'm looking to get a different post for my bike. I have a shorter AL and a longer Carbon post. The carbon wants to slide if I don't clamp it really tight, which is a PITA raising and lowering my seat while I'm riding. There is someone in the local MTB group selling a Thompson post for $55, or I could just buy a cheap Easton or something for under $20.
