I've been vegan almost 2 years and not only am I stronger, but I don't think that their is any way this diet is preventing me from preforming at my best. People who preach you need to eat meat are full of crap. Look at carl Lewis. The guy competed in 4 olympics and won like 10 medals. He was a vegan. As other people have said, being vegan may have not got him those medals, but it shows that it sure doesn't prevent people from being world class athlete's.
