Out with the coach this morning. 46 miles w no real steep or extended climbing. Plan was to stay on his wheel, which I did and am getting better at, but at about 35 miles he dropped me. I don't think I had fully recovered from Tues night. Plus, I (purposely) semi cooked myself on one hill. I felt a little pukey...
He suggested that I try racing. Says I'm definitely strong enough (though fully acknowledging there's more than strength involved) to race Cat 5 crit. Crit racing fascinates me, but as much as I'd hate to have to replace a frame, I'm much more averse to mending bones at my age..
