The frame with the fork cost $400 new but some of the frames had problems with the chainstays being too wide to fit some cranks, specifically omniums. The biggest issue getting it used is that it has a built in seat-mast which has to be cut to fit the rider. It can be cut down but not made longer, so if the previous user was shorter than you then it is a really bad deal. Likewise, this reduces its resale value if you do buy it. That being said, I like mine a lot and if it does fit, it seems like a pretty good deal to me. There is a long thread about this bike:
