Me personally? Look hands down because I have owned one. I would consider the warranty of each frame carefully as well.
When it comes to carbon fiber technology....Look >>>>Derosa, Colnago, Merckx, Cervelo and of course as you found out BMC.
The only bike manufacturer IMO that riivals if not exceeds Look's carbon fiber technology is Specialized. Trek and Giant are in there too.
It is no coincidence that carbon leaders are also big companies with deep R&D pockets...but they became big companies for a reason.
Carbon is about tech versus artisanship...latter being the forte of Italian bike manufacturers in years 'past.'
