Weinmann 500's (thousands of those in people's stashes all over the world - are left cable entry. However, in my experience it really doesn't make any difference which side the cable enters the calliper when you set up right front levers - my bikes are all set up that way, but I'm from the UK -where we drive on the corrct side of the road and have our brake levers on the correct side of the handlebars!
