I bought my 2009 Allez Sport for like $720-$740 and sold it for $680 w/ 120 miles. People buy bikes and after a few miles realize they are just not into it. Hold on to the bike and sell it in 3-4 years when it's taking up too much space.

$500-$550 is tops I would pay for a 2005 w/ 1k miles.
