For the record, I would be putting it back together with stuff from my parts bin. A set of 700c wheels that I have with an 8speed cassette, an Exage rear and front derailleur, an Exage road triple crankset (its what I have and is very clean), and whatever brakes and handlebar and shifters I can find at the bike coop.
