What I was getting at was that a lot of people think having kids at a young age is bad, but the good thing is that you end up with a bit more freedom when you are older and actually have the cash to do things. When I was in my 20's, kids or no kids, I would not be partaking in this sport....There was no way I could afford it...

The other nice thing is I took my son to his first concert when he was 14....Tool! He wanted to see them and of course so did I...Actually been to a number of shows with him and would take the younger one to more if he was closer...

Hope I didn't come off as deadbeat dad or something....Babies just aren't my thing...As they grow is where I find my place...
It's all good. You've built up "smart credit" with prior posts. If that was your first post I might have tilted my head a bit, as a Canuck I knew would say.

The other day I was trying to figure out the name of a band that I used to see (by accident, typically when meeting up with friends at a club 7 Willow St in Portchester NY). I realized that my first date with a now-ex was at that club. It was this indie rock kind of guy, liked strong bass and doing cover songs. He dressed a bit weird and doused much of the club with water from water bottles.

Marilyn Manson.

I'll be at the opposite end of the spectrum as you. I'll be 63 when Junior graduates from high school. If he graduates on time.
