You know, it is extremely easy to swap out cassettes. Just spin off the retainer ring, swap cogs and away you go. Usually no need for multiple wheel setups unless of course you already have those.
Just a month or so ago I got a XTR M972 and it could be had for $169 from Jensonusa.com, but out of stock now. Current pricing seems more like $200+ elsewhere.
True, but as we're going to get another wheelset, I'll already have a spare rim. If I stay w/ the 9-cog set, I'll just put the original gears back on it. If we go w/ a 10-sp set up, well, mountain 10 gears it'll be.
