Wheel is calibrated correctly and I've been commuting the same route for the past year that I know to estimate my average speed on my old comp (CATEYE ASTRALE) which would have been 20 mph if I was pushing it but basically doesn't go significantly higher because fo the stops. I remember an older post where a guy had what seemed to me was a high average speed considering him metioning numerous stoplights on his ride. HEnce I'm coming to the conclusion that the polar is a bit more generous in the average speed arena.
