A couple of things I can think of.

1. How low is your bar compared to your seat? My bar was just below my seat level. I added a $20 stem extender from Performance Bike & it raised the stem an inch or two & riding my flat bars is much more comfortable. I don't have Carpal Tunnel, so maybe this is irrelevant, but the andle of my wrist when riding is much less pronounced & there is much less pressure on my wrist now.

2. Adding bar ends helsp as well, by giving you another bar position. I'd also recommend Ergon grips. Again, as I don't have CT, I can't say for sure, but they definitely reduced the pressure & numbness in my hands by giving me a larger area to rest my palms.

3. I'm sure you've already modified your keyboard for optimal use, but I use one of those chicklet style keyboards (Like the newer apple keyboards). I bought a different style keyboard for work (more like a regular keyboard, with the thicker keys) & I got carpal tunnel pain right away. I went back to the chicklet style keyboard & the pain went away immediately. I ended up returning the other keyboard & stick with the chicklet style. The downside is that I make more erros on this style keyboard, but the upside is that I can type on it all day long with no issues.
