My comments about this weekend in SoCal:
I don't understand why people complain about Barrio Logan, yet race Dana Point. Cat 3/4 race at Barrio Logan was less sketchy than the Cat 3 race at Dana Point.
They had to stop the Cat 3 race at Dana Point for 20 minutes, past halfway through, because a rider was down in turn 2 and needed an ambulance. There were three crashes in the final 5 laps at Dana Point. Everyone was clumping together on the entries to all the corners throughout the race. That race would be a lot better if field was 75 riders.
Barrio Logan had a much better flow throughout, and only two crashes that I know of.
