I really like your drop bar conversion. I will put bar ends on first and see how it goes-- I do prefer drops. One issue is that the stem is just right for me with flat bars-- I'd need something higher with drops, since I ride a 62-67 cm singles, and don't want a crazy seat to bar drop on a tandem.
