Bikes: 1977 Ciocc and a 1970 Paramount, previous were an Olmo and a Gios

Yesterday I installed the spindle. It was hassle free after the LBS chased the BB threads. The crank arm threads for the pedals were well buggered. I was able to install the left pedal, but not the right, so I've ordered a 9/16x20 tap. I have a decent supply of taps, but my chart doesn't even list 9/16x20. I have to turn a spacer to mate the flat surface of the rear brakes to the round brake bridge. Hope to get to it today, but might have to wait until next weekend.

I'm hoping this thread will prove helpful to others who, like me, are restoring a frame of less than perfect condition. It all seemed so easy, but new problems have surfaced at every turn.
