repechage,

I was lucky and found a 120mm campy axle but no skewer. I should have proper skewers coming soon. I re-dished the wheel using my Parks truing rig. All threads now have been chased except the right hand penal threads in that 9/16x20 size and I've already ordered the tap. The buggered threads in the crank arms were not the fault of Caleb, the crankset came from a European vendor. Really nice, actually, but with buggered threads. Would you happen to know the proper torque for the spindle bolts in lb/ft rather than in Newton/meters?

I need some help with these photos. I tried to us the insert image function, but the files were tagged as invalid.

The photos show the low flange hubs. High flange might have been more appropriate, but those are on my Ciocc with clinchers. The tires are cheapo Servizio Corsas from Yellow Jersey. Been using them for a few years, no complaints except for the mile long valve stems. The bungee on the front wheel is to keep the front brake from banging against the frame. Universal Super 68 brakes aren't really that super and lack the rubber wheel as on the Campys. I would've used Campys, but have not yet been able to locate nice ones that use non-recessed mounting. Toe straps are on the way and will be red as will the Tressostar cloth tape. The stem is just a temporary TTT while I wait for the Cinelli to get here. I will use the TTT bar instead of the Cinellis I have just because I like the feel, I've done two centuries with those bars.

In all, as it is with so many other things, its an easy job but the devil's in the details.
