Thanks for the congrats. It was a challenge to do that long a ride and not stop(mainly for traffic). A couple of times I just had cycle nearly at a stand still to be able to avoid traffic. The next goal, a pie ride, aka 54 miles(my age), I'm not going to worry if I have to stop once, twice, or so. Not sure I'll do it this week, but I will likely try it some time soon.

The longest ride for a single ride before this was 30 miles. I've done 38 miles, but that was sort of several rides throughout quite a few hours with some longish stops between some of the parts. My son's and his fiancee's eyes bugged out when I mentioned how long the ride was today.

P.S. LOL/sigh...I got it.

Love the book, enjoyed the film, and the local planetarium show based on Hitchhiker was awesome(about 20 years ago).
