Think about the sort of questions that the reporter might ask you, and how you might answer them. How will you respond to a question about bikes running red lights or slowing down the cars? Or one about what could be done to encourage more people to commute by bike? Or how will you deal with some idiotic question about body odor or getting your hair mussed up? And then post the link to the article so that we can all critique you after the fact.
Bottom line is that a reporter is looking for that golden sound bite, or possibly more than one golden sound bite, but it has to fit with the overall story.
Good points, and I actually have a list of the questions she's interested in, with one little potential land mine in there ... "How do you deal with automobile traffic" LOL "Ride down the middle and make everyone go around", Oh yeah ... better to slide around that with something like "Choose your route carefully" don't you think?
Unfortunately if we can't find a fitting time slot between the various party's meetings schedules it may not happen, except for what I've already given in a questionnaire.
