Mine are in a ziplock bag with the phone. I dont think sweat hurts credit cards anyway. I learned the ziplock trick after I got caught in an unexpected shower and ruined a phone. (The forecast was sunny and 80 all day) And yes, I stop and buy things pretty often when I'm out on a long bike ride - drinks, snacks, lunch, beer, etc...
