I totally don't get the attitude of some BFr's who say they go off riding at length, alone, without a phone, cash, credit card or an ID.

yes I have refilled my bottles. I've done it at a friend's house a few times when riding somewhat past, and I've bought gatoraid a few times because it costs the same as bottled water. how did I buy it? a $10 (it could've been a $20, who cares) in my seatbag with my spares.
I carry a cell phone. I wear a road ID. I
don't see the point in bringing my whole wallet, especially if I have to buy a special wallet or put it in a ziplock bag to make it waterproof.
