Just moved into a new apartment. there is nothing whatsoever easily available that is of a suitable size and shape to lock our bikes to, but a number of things that are fixed. My thought is to get some heavy contractor security chain, similar to the high end chain locks, and leave a loop of it locked to itself wrapped around a post to lock our bikes to. However, the bike locks aren't long enough, and i'm having a hard time finding a source for just the chain itself. Anyone know where to find it and what, exactly, to search for?
