Same bike shop or different bike shops?

My advice is always to "shop for a bike shop" first. If you ever have a warranty issue for example, who do you want to have working for you? When you find one with people who ask the "right" questions and want to discuss where and how you plan to ride, that's it. Buy a brand that they carry and you'll never go wrong.
