Not really. There are a lot of different people who post here.

If you went to a party with a hundred or more people, you'd probably drift from group to group until you found one whose personality matched yours. The same thing is true here. We have posters who ONLY want to talk about where they rode last week and how they can ride faster. We also have posters who think of 50+ as a kind of a tavern where riders get together after the ride to just chat about whatever. The problem comes when somebody drifts into a group that doesn't match their personality and demands that everybody else change.

I almost didn't open the Jack Daniels thread because - well - I don't drink and I'm not comfortable listening to people talk about getting drunk. In the end I opened it because I really like the Deege and I wanted to see what he had to say. Ultimately I participated and other posters responded favorably to what I had to say.
